No person is making dollars off of this event. In fact, the cruise-ins throughout the summer and the Rally itself all are ways to raise capital for Central Iowa charities. Road Rally Charities is an organization that gives 100% of its membership dues back into the community to make it better for OUR generation! If you want to help figure out where the money should go, you join Road Rally Charities. We’ve given over $35,000 since 2005, and with your help plan to give that much away in 2010. We like to help the down and out, and the places the make our city COOL. We’ve given grants to The Des Moines Art Center and Art Noir, The Des Moines Public Library for Speaking Series, The Des Moines Playhouse, The Des Moines Symphony, Hawthorne Hill Women’s Shelter, Ingersoll Restoration, Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC), and Creative Visions (for GED grants and Job Interview Grants).
